Per començar el film ens mostra a quatre professors d’institut que s’embarquen en un experiment sociològic en el qual cada un d’ells haurà de mantenir la taxa d’alcohol en el seu cos al mateix nivell, durant la seva vida diària. Com a resultat volen intentar demostrar d’aquesta manera que poden millorar en tots els aspectes de la seva vida .
