CICLE DE COBLA A BARCELONA - ENRIC ORTÍ, 50 ANYS A LA TENORA

At the age of 8, Enric Ortí began his musical education at the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory of Music, studying music theory and theory, choral singing and harmony. He studied tenor with teachers Emili Mas Oliver, Francesc Elias, Josep Colomer and Ricard Viladesau, saxophone with Adolf Ventas and transverse flute with Núria Taulé.

In October 2008, after 32 years as the first tenor of the Jovenívola cobla of Sabadell, he joined the Cobla Sant Jordi-Ciutat de Barcelona. As a composer, he has two albums dedicated entirely to his work: Enric Ortí, sardanes and Sardanes d'Enric Ortí (vol. 2), both recorded by the Cobla Sant Jordi-Ciutat de Barcelona.

With both coblas he has given numerous concerts in the main halls of our country, France, Mexico, Venezuela and, more recently, Italy and Germany.
