Soul River rescata temes del repertori tradicional del blues, amb referents com Bessie Smith, Big Bill Broonzy, o Alberta Hunter combinant-ho amb temes una mica més moderns però cuinats a l’antiga. Amb pinzellades de Jazz tradicional, i de folk que tenen al blues com a llenguatge comú.

El projecte musical Soul River està format per Núria Almazán (veu), Pep Rius (guitarra), Josemí Moraleda ( contrabaix i violí) i Olivier Rocque ( bateria i washboard).
