Argentine soprano Soledad Cardoso and Colombian guitarist and theorbist Edwin García invite you to experience an authentic Renaissence evening with 17th- and 18th-century Italian and Iberian music by composers such as Monteverdi, Castaldi, Briceño and Torres. A candlelit concert that will recreate a truly intimate period evening and will transport the audience back to the centuries in which this music was created.

Both are true specialists in early music. Soledad Cardoso has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as Las Artes Florecientes, La Cappella de Turchini, Wiener Akademie, Anima Eterna, among others, and with the finest Iberian early music ensembles such as Forma AntiQva, La Grande Chapelle, El Concierto Español, and several of the best baroque orchestras. Winner of several awards in international singing competitions, she has performed at the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Palacio de las Artes in Valencia, the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, and in major theaters and prestigious auditoriums in Europe, such as the Théatre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Barbican Centre in London, and the Alter Oper in Frankfurt.
