Un Vespre únic (Vespres de Clàssica)

The series of classical musica concerts "Vespres de Clàssica" in Calella presents a unique concert featuring the "Blooming Duo" and the tonal fusion of two striking instruments: the harp and the marimba. This chamber music ensemble is practically unique in the world, with a very distinctive and special sound that captivates and attracts all audiences.

Ferran Carceller (marimba) and Esther Pinyol (harp) presented this ensemble for the first time in 2012. Awarded one of the Honorable Mentions at the "Risingstars" international music competition in Berlin in 2017, they have been part of the programming of numerous series and festivals. Notable among these are the Torroella de Montgrí Festival and the Cervera Easter Festival. The uniqueness of the group has led them to commission and premiere new repertoire, featuring notable names such as Feliu Gasull, Marc Timón, and Albert Guinovart, and in 2018 they released their first album, "Complicitats."

They will offer a repertoire by Catalan composers such as Jordi Domènech, Bernat Vivancos, and Albert Guinovart himself, among others.
